When these Terms refer to:

  • "Akerio Tours", "we", "us", or "our" — it means Akerio Tours and its authorized representatives.
  • "Customer", "you", or "user" — means any person who visits our website, contacts us, or makes a booking.
  • "Services" — means any tour, ticket, transfer, activity, or travel product sold through our website.
  • "Service Provider" — means a third-party operator, supplier, or partner who provides the service.

Some services are operated directly by Akerio Tours, while others are provided by licensed third-party operators. In such cases, Akerio Tours acts only as a booking agent or intermediary.

Our services may be available through:

3. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or booking any service, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old, or you have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

If you make a booking for other persons, you confirm that:

You agree that:

  • You are responsible for mistakes in your booking.

Akerio Tours is not responsible for problems caused by incorrect information provided by the customer.

We may refuse or cancel bookings if false or incomplete information is provided.

5. Booking Conditions

All bookings made through Akerio Tours are subject to availability and confirmation.

A booking is considered confirmed only when:

  1. Payment is completed, and
  2. Confirmation is issued by Akerio Tours.

After booking, you will receive:

  • Booking confirmation
  • Voucher / ticket (if required)
  • Pickup instructions (if applicable)

You must check all details carefully. If any information is incorrect, you must inform us immediately.

To use the service, you must:

  • Arrive at the meeting point on time
  • Follow instructions given in the confirmation
  • Show your voucher / booking proof if required

If you fail to arrive on time, the service may be cancelled without refund.

Some services may have additional conditions from the Service Provider. You agree to follow those conditions.

6. Role of Akerio Tours

Akerio Tours may act as: Booking agent for third-party suppliers.

When services are provided by third-party operators:

  • The operator is responsible for the service.
  • The operator controls safety, timing, and operation.
  • Akerio Tours only arranges the booking.

We are not responsible for problems caused by the Service Provider, including:

  • Delays
  • Schedule changes
  • Accidents
  • Service quality
  • Weather conditions

However, we will try to assist customers when possible.

Displaying a service on our website does not mean we guarantee the service quality.

7. Travel Requirements

Customers are responsible for checking all travel requirements before booking.

This includes:

  • Passport validity
  • Visa requirements
  • Health rules
  • Vaccination rules
  • Insurance coverage

These rules may change without notice.

Akerio Tours is not responsible if a customer cannot travel due to missing documents.

We strongly recommend travel insurance for all tours and activities.

8. Prices

All prices shown on our website:

  • Are in Thai Baht unless stated otherwise.
  • Are per person unless specified.
  • May change at any time before booking.

Prices may vary due to:

  • Supplier price changes
  • Currency exchange
  • Seasonal rates
  • System errors

The final price is the price shown at the time of payment.

We try to keep prices correct, but mistakes may happen.

If a booking is made with an incorrect price due to error, we may:

  • Cancel the booking, and
  • Refund the full amount.

We are not required to provide the service at the wrong price.

9. Payments

Payment must be completed before confirmation.

We may accept payment by:

  • Credit card
  • Debit card
  • Bank transfer
  • Online payment gateway
  • Other approved methods

The total amount charged may include:

  • Service price
  • Taxes
  • Fees
  • Processing charges

The total amount does NOT include:

  • Bank charges
  • Currency conversion fees

Your bank may charge additional fees.

You agree that:

  • You are authorized to use the payment method.
  • Payment details are correct.
  • You will pay all charges.

If payment is rejected, the booking will not be confirmed.

10. Currency and Exchange

If you pay in a different currency:

  • Exchange rates may apply.
  • Your bank may charge fees.
  • The final amount may be different.

Akerio Tours is not responsible for bank exchange charges.

11. Pricing Errors

We try to ensure accurate pricing, but errors may occur due to:

  • System problems
  • Supplier mistakes
  • Currency conversion errors
  • Technical faults

If a booking is made at the wrong price, we may:

  • Cancel the booking, or
  • Offer the correct price, or
  • Refund the payment.

This is allowed under Thai law when a price error occurs.

12. Cancellation Policy

Each service booked through Akerio Tours is subject to a cancellation policy. Cancellation rules may vary depending on the type of service, supplier, or promotion. Customers must read the cancellation conditions shown at the time of booking. General cancellation rules apply unless otherwise stated.

12.1 Customer Cancellation

Cancellation requests must be sent by email, message, or official contact channel. The cancellation time will be counted from the time we receive the request.

General conditions:

  • Cancel 24–48 hours before service (depend on service) → refund given. Please check the time before you book.
  • Cancel less than 24 hours before service → no refund
  • Same-day cancellation → no refund
  • No-show → no refund
  • Late arrival → no refund

Some bookings may be marked: Non-refundable

In such cases, no refund will be given under any condition.

Special promotions, discounted tickets, ferry tickets, flights, and event tickets are often non-refundable.

13. Refund Policy

Refunds will only be given if allowed under the cancellation policy.

If a refund is approved:

  • Refund will be sent to the same payment method used.
  • Refund currency will be the same as the original payment.
  • Processing time may take 7–30 business days.
  • Bank fees or transfer fees may be deducted.
  • Cancellation fee will be applied

Akerio Tours is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment providers.

No refund will be given for:

  • No-show
  • Late arrival
  • Personal reasons
  • Flight delay
  • Weather discomfort
  • Change of mind
  • Failure to read booking details

If the Service Provider refuses refund, we must follow their policy.

14. Cancellation by Akerio Tours or Service Provider

Sometimes services may be cancelled due to:

  • Weather conditions
  • Safety reasons
  • Government order
  • Supplier problem
  • Mechanical failure
  • Insufficient participants
  • Natural disaster
  • Force majeure

In such cases we may offer:

  • Change of date
  • Alternative tour
  • Credit
  • Refund (if possible)

Refund amount depends on supplier rules.

We are not responsible for extra costs such as:

  • Hotel
  • Flight
  • Taxi
  • Personal expenses

15. Booking Changes

Changes are allowed only if:

  • Requested before deadline
  • Supplier approves
  • Availability exists

Changes may include:

  • Date change
  • Name correction
  • Pickup change

Extra fees may apply. Last-minute changes may not be possible. If the supplier refuses the change, the original booking remains.

16. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide correct information
  • Follow instructions
  • Arrive on time
  • Respect local laws
  • Respect other guests
  • Follow safety rules

Customers must not:

  • Make fake bookings
  • Use false names
  • Damage property
  • Behave dangerously
  • Use illegal drugs
  • Be violent or abusive

If a customer breaks rules, the service may be stopped without refund.

17. Health and Safety

Some tours involve risk, including:

  • Boat trips
  • Snorkeling
  • Diving
  • Hiking
  • Adventure activities

By booking, you confirm:

  • You are healthy enough for the activity
  • You will follow safety instructions
  • You accept normal travel risks

Pregnant women, elderly persons, or people with medical conditions should check before booking.

The tour operator may refuse participation for safety reasons.

No refund will be given if the operator refuses due to safety concerns.

18. Insurance

Akerio Tours recommends that all customers have travel insurance.

Insurance should cover:

  • Accident
  • Medical cost
  • Trip cancellation
  • Lost baggage
  • Emergency return

Some tours include insurance provided by the operator, but coverage may be limited.

Akerio Tours is not responsible for insurance claims.

Customers are responsible for their own insurance.

19. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delay, change, or cancellation caused by events outside our control.

  • Rain
  • Flood
  • Earthquake
  • Fire
  • Pandemic
  • Government order
  • Strike
  • War
  • Traffic accident
  • Airport delay
  • Ferry cancellation

In such cases, refund is not guaranteed. We will try to offer alternative solutions when possible.

This follows Thai Civil and Commercial Code rules on force majeure.

20. Use of Website

  • Accidents
  • Schedule changes
  • Service quality
  • Lost items

The operator has their own rules, customers must follow those rules. If there is a problem during the tour, the operator is responsible. We will try to help but cannot guarantee resolution.

22. Links to Other Websites

Our website may contain links to other websites. We do not control those websites.

We are not responsible for:

  • Their prices
  • Their policies

Use of other websites is at your own risk.

23. Privacy Policy

We collect personal information only for booking purposes.

25. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under the laws of Thailand, Akerio Tours shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or inconvenience caused during or after the use of our services, except where required by law.

Our services may involve transportation, outdoor activities, water activities, or third-party operations. Customers accept that travel and tourism activities may involve risks.

Akerio Tours will not be responsible for:

  • Personal injury
  • Illness
  • Death
  • Loss of luggage
  • Loss of personal belongings
  • Flight delay
  • Ferry delay
  • Traffic delay
  • Weather conditions
  • Natural disasters
  • Actions of third-party operators
  • Government restrictions
  • Visa problems
  • Immigration refusal
  • Customer negligence

When services are provided by a third-party operator, that operator is responsible for the service.

Akerio Tours acts only as: Booking agent, or Service coordinator, unless clearly stated otherwise.

If Akerio Tours is found legally responsible under Thai law, our liability will not exceed the total amount paid for the booking.

This limitation applies to the maximum extent allowed by the Thai Civil and Commercial Code and Consumer Protection law.

26. Personal Belongings

Customers are responsible for their own personal belongings at all times.

Akerio Tours and service providers are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items, including:

  • Phone
  • Camera
  • Passport
  • Wallet
  • Bags
  • Jewelry

Customers should keep valuables safe.

If an item is lost, we may try to help, but recovery is not guaranteed.

27. Customer Conduct During Tours

Customers must behave in a safe and respectful manner during all services.

The tour operator may refuse service to any person who:

  • Is drunk
  • Uses drugs
  • Is violent
  • Is dangerous
  • Disobeys safety rules
  • Harasses others
  • Damages property

If service is refused due to customer behavior: No refund will be given.

Customers must follow all instructions given by:

  • Tour guide
  • Driver
  • Boat crew
  • Activity instructor
  • Staff

Safety decisions made by the operator are final.

28. Complaints

If you have a problem during the tour, you must inform:

  • The tour guide, or
  • Akerio Tours immediately.

We will try to solve the problem as soon as possible.

Complaints made after the tour may not be accepted if we were not informed during the service.

All complaints must be sent within 7 days after the service date.

We will review the case and respond within a reasonable time.

29. Disputes

If a dispute occurs, both parties agree to try to resolve the issue by discussion first.

If the problem cannot be solved, the dispute shall be handled according to the laws of Thailand.

Customers agree that:

  • Thai law applies
  • Thai courts have jurisdiction

This applies even if the customer lives in another country.

This condition follows Thai Civil and Commercial Code rules.

30. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted according to the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand.

Any legal dispute related to:

  • Payment
  • Service
  • Website use

shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand.

If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest will remain valid.

31. Intellectual Property

All content on the Akerio Tours website belongs to Akerio Tours or its partners.

This includes:

  • Logo
  • Photos
  • Text
  • Tour descriptions
  • Design
  • Graphics

You may not:

  • Copy
  • Reuse
  • Sell
  • Modify
  • Publish

without written permission.

Use of our content is allowed only for personal travel booking.
